Resume Blox — terms of service.
1. Who we are
Resume Blox is operated by V3s Software, Inc. ("V3s", "we", "us"), a Delaware corporation headquartered in Dallas, Texas. Contact us at support@v3s.dev.
2. The service
Resume Blox is a free, sponsor-supported web application for creating, editing, and exporting resumes. You can save up to 25 resumes on a free account — no credit card, ever.
We may:
- Show you advertisements and sponsor mentions alongside the product.
- Change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
- Impose quotas (such as the 25-resume limit) to keep costs sustainable.
3. Accounts
You can try the Studio without an account — edits are saved locally in your browser. To save across devices you need an account, managed via Clerk. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, violate these Terms, or incur disproportionate cost.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the text, personal details, and material you put into Resume Blox ("Your Content"). You grant V3s a worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of operating the service for you.
5. Anonymized data for product improvement
By using Resume Blox, you grant V3s permission to use anonymized, de-identified data derived from Your Content and your usage of the service to:
- Improve the product (layouts, suggestions, scoring, export quality).
- Train machine-learning models that power features such as suggestions and AI insights.
- Generate aggregate analytics.
"Anonymized" means stripped of personal identifiers — name, email, phone, addresses, URLs, company names, and any other field that could reasonably identify you or a third party — before being used for these purposes. Your raw, identifiable content is never used for training and is never shared with third parties except as required to operate the service (e.g. Cloudflare, Clerk).
If you do not consent to this use of anonymized data, do not use the service.
6. What you must not do
- Submit content you don't have the right to submit.
- Submit unlawful, harassing, or obviously false content about another person.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the service.
- Attempt to access accounts or data that aren't yours.
- Use the service to generate resumes for fraud or deception.
7. Third-party services
Resume Blox relies on third parties including Cloudflare (hosting, database), Clerk (authentication), and advertising / sponsor networks. Their handling of data is governed by their own terms.
8. No warranty
The service is provided "as is". We don't guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose — including job applications. You're responsible for reviewing your resume before using it.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, V3s will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost opportunities, or lost data arising out of or relating to your use of the service.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the site at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflicts of law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas.
